Let's get it started~
There's no reason for her to go out. It's not a birthday, or a reason to celebrate. Instead? Raleigh's bored. She's bored, and she'd mentioned it to Les, and that's why she's going out tonight. She can hear the music thumping more than a block away from the club, and her heels click on the sidewalk.
She's taken the potions that Joel makes for her so that her leg doesn't hurt, and it's no surprise that with what she's wearing and the way she smiles at the bouncer, she gets in without having to pay cover.
It's after she's inside that she fires off texts to her friends, finds herself a drink at the bar, and scopes out the crowd. It's times like this that she realises that being nice doesn't really get you anywhere - and sometimes, not being the polite, sweet baker isn't exactly how you have fun.
OOC: Open to everyone as a gathering! Hang out with Raleigh, each other, whatever! Note, she's at about half-soul-sucked, so she may be acting a bit oddly. Set for Saturday night.

"So, Les. Tell me something. How come you don't just like, turn everything gold or money or whatever?" There's no transition or introduction -- just from zero to money, and she looks over at him with raised eyebrows. "I mean, you could, right?"

"I could do a lot of things," Les responds letting his smile widen when she asks him about money. "Just because I can, doesn't mean I should." Besides now he has a job that actually pays him very decently, why would he need to use magic to make himself rich? Rewind a three or four years ago and he barely had enough for a decent apartment or furniture or food. He didn't use his magic to make money then either. "If I start using my magic to get every single thing I want, I would...I dunno. Turn into Nerium. And I really don't wanna have to go live in the woods."

She rolls her shoulder into a shrug as she looks back out at the dance floor. "I mean, unless you just don't care about poor people - that's totally valid. There's a bunch of them who hang around the store, and I used to give them free coffee." Not anymore - she's got other things to do, and why should she give them coffee? It cost her money, and just having them around cost her business.

He was raised by a witch. A great witch. What he can do today, she could do when she was alive, and she never taught Les to do the things Raleigh is talking about and it's not like they didn't have problems. She could've used it to make herself rich, get rid of her addictions, make Neal come back to her. She didn't though.
"Not only that, but I'm not a superhero. If I went around using all that magic, I'd probably put myself in the hospital from exhaustion," he says.
