Let's get it started~

There's no reason for her to go out. It's not a birthday, or a reason to celebrate. Instead? Raleigh's bored. She's bored, and she'd mentioned it to Les, and that's why she's going out tonight. She can hear the music thumping more than a block away from the club, and her heels click on the sidewalk.

She's taken the potions that Joel makes for her so that her leg doesn't hurt, and it's no surprise that with what she's wearing and the way she smiles at the bouncer, she gets in without having to pay cover.

It's after she's inside that she fires off texts to her friends, finds herself a drink at the bar, and scopes out the crowd. It's times like this that she realises that being nice doesn't really get you anywhere - and sometimes, not being the polite, sweet baker isn't exactly how you have fun.

OOC: Open to everyone as a gathering! Hang out with Raleigh, each other, whatever! Note, she's at about half-soul-sucked, so she may be acting a bit oddly. Set for Saturday night.

Sylvie feels too old and too strange in this town to go clubbing, but they've also been through a weird couple of weeks, so when she gets Raleigh's text she figures what the hell, and goes with it. She may not know very many people, but maybe this is the perfect place to try and talk to some new people, to be someone other than Coop's weird French ex.

So, she dons her little black dress and goes out. It's not hard to find Raleigh at the bar, and she looks different almost, more relaxed somehow. It's a far cry than the last time Sylvie had seen her, being harassed by some asshole in the street, and she's glad. She nudges her way next to her at the bar and orders herself a drink. "Okay, I'm here, you win."

Les receives her text message around 8 o'clock, even though he was lucky enough to get a phone call too. It's late. It's the weekend, and he would very much like to see what Corry's up to tonight. However, Raleigh isn't one to just head out to a club on most nights, and he would actually feel bad turning down the invitation.

He puts on a quick pair of jeans and a reasonably clean t-shirt, and then he finds the club she mentioned in the text message. Unlike her, the bouncer makes him pay the cover. Once he's inside, he spends a few minutes searching the building. Finally he spots her.

"Hey, hot stuff. Where's my drink?" he says in greeting.

Mira gets the texts a little late, but she's curious that Raleigh's the one instigating clubbing, and from the tone of the text she thinks she's still going to be partying. Mira throws on the closest to club-appropriate she has handy and heads over, paying cover.

She spots Raleigh and grins in surprise at the outfit. Raleigh may not be that kind of attracted to girls, and Mira's over the fact, but that doesn't mean she can't appreciate her attractive friends. It does make her wonder what's up, a little. "Hey, gorgeous," she says to her from behind, catching up at the bar. "What's the occasion?"
