Raleigh Harper - Character Permissions
OOC PREFERENCES: Permissions for OOC game activity.

THREADJACKING: Definitely talk to me before threadjacking. It depends on why you want to threadjack, or why; if there is a plot opportunity, let me know, but besides that, I'd say no.
SLOWTAGGING/BACKTAGGING: Generally, I'm okay with slow/backtagging, however I may IM you and say it's been too long / too slow and that we need to fade to black.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Raleigh is 5'2", blond, and slight. She has a faint southern (East Tennessee) accent that grows in strength when she's emotional, tired, or drunk.
She typically dresses like this in the spring, summer, fall, and winter. In general, think layers and Chuck Taylors, and unless 100% explicitly stated, she's always in some form of flat shoes/boots/sneakers/sandals. She also has a Wonder Woman hoodie that she got from Spencer, and she wears frequently.
Raleigh has a massive scar on the front of her right calf, and a multitude of straight, smaller scars all over the bottom of her right leg. She also favors her leg; on the best days, she walks with a slight limp; on the worst, it's extremely noticeable, and extremely ungainly. If it's a weekday post 9AM, she probably has flour smeared on her or her clothing somewhere, or possibly in her hair.
DEMEANOR: Raleigh's extremely forthright, but she's also very kind. She tries to make sure that the people around her are included, and she smiles a great deal. When dealing with things she doesn't want to talk about, she breaks eye contact because she's extremely uncomfortable with lying / deceit. Her gut reaction is to kill-them-with-kindness, and she has the Southern ability to say nothing mean at all but still put people in their place. When faced with situations that trigger her panic attacks, her gut reaction is to get away from the situation as fast as humanly possible so she can be alone.
PHYSICAL CONTACT: Raleigh is typically surprised when others initiate physical contact, and if they are friends, she's usually alright with it. She's extremely wary of close physical contact from strangers, and friend or not, she may have a panic attack if she's ever grabbed from behind. That being said, she does tend to be very physically demonstrative with friends, and she actually craves touch from the people who she trusts, and tends to be a cuddler.
FLIRTING: Honestly, she's somewhere between (somewhat) flattered, (extremely) confused, and wondering what the catch is.
RELATIONSHIPS: Raleigh is currently single. Currently, she has feelings for Shea Cooper, however she also believes that it's completely unwanted from his perspective, so she ignores them and acts like they don't exist and they're just good friends. She's definitely open for romantic threads of any sort.
HOME INFORMATION: Currently, Raleigh lives with Spencer and Joel, however now that the bakery is doing well she may be looking for her own apartment. The house is spelled so that only Raleigh, Spencer, and Joel can enter without express permission.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Raleigh does not deal particularly well with blood, talking about magical attacks (especially flippantly), poverty/wealth (especially flippantly), and negative things about the people she cares about.
ABILITIES: Raleigh is a gifted baker, and has opened her own bakery on the boardwalk, called The Orchard House. She also has a remarkably good soul; anyone who can see auras, scrys her, or any other mystical sensing power would see that there's a lot of stored up power and it's extremely unusual.

MENTAL: Raleigh is both vulnerable and able to be mind-controlled; I would ask that if you plan to do so, please be aware I may IM you to discuss it, if it seems like there may not be a plot reason behind it.
FIGHTING/VIOLENCE: Raleigh is open to fighting / violent interactions.
LURING: Raleigh is vulnerable to sirens, but no more or less than any other typical human.
MAGIC: Raleigh is vulnerable to magic, typically no more or less than any other typical human. However, if it's soul-based magic, it may end up changing slightly; please contact me if that's the case.
OTHER / NOTES: Raleigh was kidnapped by a Siren in June, 2014 with Corrine Flynn. While this was reported in the papers, she wasn't mentioned by name since Corrine is a Big Movie Star. She is generally recovered from the event, however she does have specific triggers (namely, being grabbed from behind and being trapped in the dark) that may cause panic attacks. The only lasting effect that has really stuck around since the attack is that she feels perpetually that she's cold, no matter how warm it is outside, which is one of the reasons she wears so many layers.
