"I was really looking forward to the stool part but fine, I suppose I'll let it slide this time," he said, grabbing a wooden spoon off of the counter and shaking it at her as menacingly as he could. It was not very menacing at all, unfortunately, because it was just a spoon and he was grinning like an idiot.

He wanted to tell her that she had met Lara, that Lara had been there that night, but it wasn't the sort of thing that he wanted to bring up right now. This was for fun.
