"He was wrong," Joel says, his arm tightening around her briefly as he thinks about someone doing that to her, someone using her good nature to trick her like that. Someone taking her and hurting her. He doesn't understand why anyone would do such a thing. Mark had grabbed Spencer because he knew it would hurt Joel, he understands that, but he doesn't understand why anyone would feel the need to hurt Raleigh.
