He doesn't ask because he doesn't trust her, but simply because so many people in Siren Cove are open about such things and unless he asks, there's no reason for her to assume he wants it to be kept secret. Now and then he wonders if it's worth it and although he and Lou have begun to mend their broken bridges, he still remembers her initial reaction and that still concerns him a little. He worries that others might feel the same and they might not be so forgiving in the long run.

"You just drink it," he says with a nod, keeping his arm around her. "It shouldn't taste like anything, shouldn't smell like anything." He can make potions with specific tastes and he does now and then, but they don't keep as long and he'd wanted to leave this one for Spencer to use whenever he might need it. He wanted something to be there for Spencer if he needed it, if he couldn't be there himself. "And it should work fairly quickly. Within minutes."
