immediate mint smell. "I miss it kinda. I'm from here, though. Just took a
little break for fivish years. A really, uh, writing heavy break. I feel
like everyone somehow ends up back here sooner or later, though."
She laughs. "I figure, you apply to Harvard because you already have a
sizable ego or you're really hoping to develop one. We were too busy having
parties for that. Or in my case sometimes geeking out over the
observatory." Mira takes a drink.
"My god, Tennessee, you mean there are real people who go to college
there?" she jokes. "Yeah, being from nowhere Maine is weird enough, I can
only imagine. To be fair the only thing I know about Tennessee is...um,
there's got a good women's basketball team? My roommate a couple years was
from Connecticut and we always ended up watching."
